Prince Louis once again made headlines at a royal event when he blew out his sister Princess Charlotte’s candle at their mother Kate Middleton’s third annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey on Friday. The 5-year-old’s hysterical moment took place in front of the 1,000-year-old church, where Louis, Charlotte, and their big brother Prince George attended the festivities. Louis made his holiday debut this year, while the couple’s two older children had attended the festivities the previous year. The family showed up in festive attire, with William, Louis, and George in navy-blue suits, while Charlotte sported a dark-red coat and stockings and Middleton in an all-white ensemble. Other members of the royal family were also in attendance to show support, including Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips’ daughters, Savannah and Isla, and Princess Beatrice with her stepson Christopher Woolf. The event involved musical performances by Westminster Abbey’s choir, Adam Lambert, and Beverley Knight. This holiday concert was part of Middleton’s Shaping Us project, a mission to support children during their early developmental stages. The family outing comes just days after claims made in Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival” about discussions of Archie’s skin color by members of the royal family, including Middleton and Charles. The royal family have remained silent amid the scandal, but Middleton and William are reportedly too exhausted to release a statement or react in any form. Middleton was also reportedly saddened that her name was mentioned and denied any involvement in the alleged discussions. This Christmas concert wasn’t the only joint appearance Middleton made with her kids recently, as she also brought Charlotte and Louis to a taping of “Strictly Come Dancing,” UK’s version of “Dancing With the Stars,” where she took pictures of the children in the judges’ seats.
