Springdale Mourns the Loss of Harry B. Joyner, a Beloved Centenarian
The community of Springdale is mourning the loss of Harry B. Joyner, a beloved resident who passed away at the age of 100 on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice. Born on June 28, 1924, in Spring Valley near Hindsville, Arkansas, Harry was the son of Robert P. Joyner and Mary Margaret Black Joyner.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, located at 1000 N. Gutensohn Road in Springdale. Following the service, Harry will be laid to rest at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will take place on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Springdale Senior Center, Meals On Wheels, or Circle of Life Hospice. Donations can be sent to the respective addresses provided.
