“Upcoming Event at Bella Vista Historical Museum: Lecture on Confederate General “Extra Billy” Smith Set for Aug. 1″ – Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The Bella Vista Civil War Round Table program will feature a presentation on Confederate General William ‘Extra Billy’ Smith by Scott Mingus at the Bella Vista Historical Museum. The Benton County Master Gardeners will meet at the Bentonville Church of Christ and share information about their community projects. The local Mensa Chapter holds monthly meetings at Einstein Brothers Bagels in Fayetteville. The American Legion Post 27 will host a LifeLine Screening event and is collecting donations of aluminum cans, crayons, and old flags. The Community Creative Center will host a Whole Health Art Class series for veterans. The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks will be holding a Veterans Town Hall at Ozark Technical Community College.
