Arkansas’s football team is set to begin its fall camp on Wednesday evening, gearing up for a season opener against UAPB in Little Rock. Head coach Sam Pittman is looking for a bounceback season after a disappointing 4-8 record in 2023. Bobby Petrino returns to the team and will be working with new quarterback Taylen Green.
As the team prepares for their in-state showdown and a tough SEC schedule, there are key position battles to watch during fall camp. At outside cornerback, Jaylon Braxton leads the way with Kee’yon Stewart, Jaheim Singletary, and Marquise Robinson vying for starting spots. Defensive end Landon Jackson is a standout player, while Nico Davillier and Anton Juncaj compete for the opposite end position. In the slot receiver position, Isaiah Sategna is the favorite, but Jaedon Wilson is also in the mix.
Pittman and Petrino will have plenty of talent to work with as they look to define roles and answer questions on the roster during fall camp. With top recruits and experienced players vying for starting spots, Arkansas football fans have a lot to look forward to as the team gears up for the upcoming season. Stay tuned for updates on these key position battles and more as the Razorbacks prepare for another exciting season.
