Music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing new allegations of sexual abuse as two women have come forward with lawsuits claiming they were assaulted by him and other unnamed celebrities. The women, identified as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, allege that they were drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs and other high-profile individuals at parties hosted by the music executive.
The lawsuits, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, also name Combs’ former girlfriend Cassie, as well as his former security chief, as co-defendants. The women claim that they were targeted and exploited by Combs and his associates, who took advantage of their vulnerabilities and subjected them to abuse.
Combs has denied the allegations through his lawyer, who described the claims as “completely baseless.” The lawsuits allege that the incidents occurred between 2001 and 2010, with one of the women claiming that Combs subjected her to a forced abortion after she became pregnant following the assault.
The lawsuits come at a time when the entertainment industry is facing increased scrutiny over issues of sexual misconduct and abuse. Combs, who has built a successful career in the music industry and beyond, has previously been accused of similar behavior by other women.
The women are seeking unspecified damages and are demanding a jury trial to hold Combs and his associates accountable for their alleged actions. The lawsuits have reignited discussions about accountability and justice for survivors of sexual abuse in the entertainment industry. It remains to be seen how Combs will respond to the allegations and whether they will have any impact on his reputation and career.
