Arkansas secures commitment from highly-rated wide receiver Ja’kayden Ferguson on National Signing Day

Arkansas football added a new member to their 2025 recruiting class on National Signing Day. Four-star wide receiver Ja’kayden Ferguson signed with the Razorbacks, despite never visiting the school before. Ferguson, who was previously committed to Kentucky, reopened his recruitment and ultimately chose Arkansas over LSU. He joins a talented group of receivers in the class, including Antonio Jordan, Kamare Williams, and Quentin Murphy. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound wideout had a standout senior season at Fort Bend Marshall, earning a nomination to the final ballot of the 2024 Whataburger Super Team alongside top talent from Texas.

Ferguson’s commitment boosts Arkansas’ recruiting class, which was ranked 29th nationally and 14th in the SEC prior to his pledge. With 17 players signed and a total of 23 commitments, the Razorbacks are continuing to add depth and talent. Along with Ferguson, the remaining commitments include Kevin Oats, Caleb Bell, Connor Howes, Jayden Shelton, and Markeylin Batton.

Arkansas receivers coach Ronnie Fouch played a key role in recruiting Ferguson, who adds size and skill to their roster. His decision to join the Razorbacks brings excitement and potential to the team as they prepare for the upcoming season. Arkansas football fans can look forward to seeing Ferguson in action as he joins the program and contributes to their success on the field.
