Gas prices in Arkansas are currently averaging $2.64 per gallon of regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA Arkansas Weekend Gas Watch. This price has remained steady compared to last week, but is 16 cents lower than this time last year.
The Energy Information Administration has reported that gasoline supply and demand across the U.S. is “mixed,” which may be contributing to the fluctuating gas prices in Arkansas. Last week’s Thanksgiving travel may have also impacted gas prices in the state.
Despite recent increases, gas prices in most parts of Arkansas are at or near their lowest levels of 2024, according to AAA spokesperson Nick Chabarria. As we head towards the end of the year, drivers can expect to see further fluctuations at the pump.
Arkansas currently has the 4th lowest gas price average in the United States, according to data from gasprices.aaa.com. Drivers in the state can continue to monitor gas prices and plan their fuel purchases accordingly.
