Arkansas sports writer Bob Holt passed away at age 65


Arkansas sports journalist Bob Holt, a longtime reporter for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, has passed away at the age of 65 after collapsing while covering the Razorbacks football game on December 4. Holt, a respected figure in sports journalism, had been covering Arkansas sports since graduating from the University of Missouri in 1981. He was a four-time Arkansas Sportswriter of the Year and had been inducted into the Arkansas Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame.
