Luke Hasz, Arkansas football tight end, to enter transfer portal.

Arkansas football tight end Luke Hasz, who showed great potential in his freshman year with the Razorbacks, has announced his decision to transfer from the program. Hasz made the announcement on social media, joining other offensive starters from 2024 in seeking opportunities elsewhere.

Hasz’s freshman season was promising before being cut short by injury, but his sophomore year did not live up to expectations. With the hiring of Bobby Petrino as offensive coordinator, hopes were high for Hasz and the tight end position, but he failed to replicate his early success.

During the 2024 season, Hasz recorded 26 catches for 324 yards and four touchdowns. With other tight ends also departing the team, Arkansas will need to address the position in the transfer portal.

Hasz expressed gratitude towards Coach Sam Pittman and Coach Turner, but ultimately made the decision to transfer after prayer and discussions with his family and fiancé. The tight end thanked Arkansas and mentioned that the program will always hold a special place in his heart.

As Hasz joins the ranks of transfer portal entries from the Razorbacks, it remains to be seen where his talents will be showcased next. Arkansas football fans will have to wait and see how the team addresses the departures and fills the gaps left by departing players.
