Arkansas Tech University student Lauren Massey recently won the Collegiate Farm Bureau Discussion Meet at the 2025 Arkansas Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference. Hosted by the Arkansas Farm Bureau in Fort Smith, the competition aims to develop basic discussion skills and an understanding of important agricultural issues in young participants. Massey, an agriculture business major from Paris, emerged victorious, showcasing her logical thinking, listening, and speaking abilities. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent her university and the Department of Agriculture and Tourism.
