One person has died and four others were injured after a plane collision near Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday. The crash occurred off the runway, with emergency responders finding one person dead and four others injured. Two of the injured were in critical condition, while one refused treatment. The collision involved a Learjet 35A and a Gulfstream 200 business jet.

Airport spokesperson Kelli Kuester stated that the landing gear of the arriving plane failed, causing the accident. Flights at the airport were paused as the FAA investigated the incident. The aircraft involved were described as midsize business jets, with the arriving plane crashing into a jet parked on private property adjacent to the airport.

The tail number for the arriving plane is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, LLC, with Vince Neil listed as the president and director. Vince Neil is known as the lead singer of the rock band Mötley Crüe. Representatives for the band and Neil have not yet commented on the incident.
