The Central Arkansas men’s golf team competed in the Bentwater Intercollegiate hosted by Rice University, with Bogdan Sandrini leading the way in second place after two rounds. Sandrini started strong with a 68 in the first round and followed it up with a 70 in the second round, finishing at 4-under 138. Maksymilian Bialy and Kalle Svederman also had strong performances, with Bialy in 17th place at one stroke under par and Svederman at 1-over 143. Noah Blaickner made a significant improvement in the second round, finishing at 3-under 68 and tied with Svederman. Vukasin Suturovic scored a 3-over 145 after two rounds.
The team currently sits in third place, trailing Sam Houston State and Midland College by six strokes. Abilene Christian’s Preston Cooper leads the individual leaderboard, with Sandrini just one stroke behind in second place.
