Parkview High School in Arkansas has announced a new head football coach, Bobby Bolding. Bobby takes over from his brother Brad Bolding, who recently left to coach at North Little Rock. With an impressive track record as the defensive coordinator for Parkview’s three-time state champion team, Bobby brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Bobby has already achieved success as a high school coach, winning 220 games and three state titles. His coaching career began in 2002 at Stuttgart, where he secured his first state championship. He later led Pine Bluff to back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015, and took White Hall to its first state title appearance in 2021. Bobby’s success puts him in the elite company of just one other Arkansas coach, Gus Malzahn, for taking three schools to a state title game.
Under Brad Bolding’s leadership, Parkview High School made a remarkable turnaround from a 1-8 season in 2017 to becoming three-time state champions. The team finished with a perfect record of 33-0 against Class 5A competition during the three-year span of 2022-24.
The Bolding brothers may face each other on the field in the near future, as their respective teams, Parkview and North Little Rock, have already competed in recent seasons. This change in leadership marks a new chapter for Parkview High School football, and fans are eager to see what Bobby Bolding will accomplish in his new role.
