Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy rejected a proposal from Trump administration officials that would grant the United States significant access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals. Ukraine has large reserves of titanium and iron ore, key minerals for technology products, but many are in areas controlled by Russian troops. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of U.S. support for Ukraine’s survival and security, despite Trump’s questioning of the level of support provided by the U.S.
