Tri-County Animal Rescue in Boca Raton welcomed 20 dogs rescued from dire hoarding situations in rural Arkansas on Thursday night. These dogs, part of a larger group of 80 saved by Animal Rescue Corps, were surrendered by their owners and found in appalling conditions including severe skin issues, malnourishment, and pregnancy. The dogs, including labradors with newborn puppies and chihuahuas, were transported nearly 10 hours to Ocala before Tri-County Animal Rescue took them to Boca Raton for a second chance at life.
The next steps for these animals include evaluations by the Tri-County Animal Rescue’s medical team starting on Monday. Once the dogs are healthier, they will be available for viewing at the rescue center. The dogs are currently scared and confused, but with proper care and attention, they will soon be ready for adoption.
