Nicole J. Johnson, the Vice President for Student Life at Rhodes College, will be giving a lecture at Arkansas Tech University on Friday, March 7 as part of the ATU Minority Mentorship Program Distinctive Voices lecture series. The event will be held at 2 p.m. in the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300A and is free and open to the public. Johnson, a 2011 graduate of Arkansas Tech, will be sharing her insights and experiences in student affairs and leadership.
Johnson has a Master of Science degree in college student personnel and has previously worked at Goucher College as an associate dean of students. She has also held positions at Elizabeth City State University, Virginia Tech, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Johnson has been involved in leadership roles within the American College Professional Association.
The lecture is organized by the ATU Black Faculty and Staff Organization and aims to provide mentorship and guidance to minority students at the university. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from Johnson’s expertise and gain valuable insights into student life and success in higher education.
