Sixth Place Finish for Camila Negroni at Puerto Rico Shootout


Central Arkansas women’s golf team is currently in sixth place after the first round of the Puerto Rico Shootout. Camila Negroni, a Puerto Rico native, leads the team and is also in sixth place individually after shooting a 1-under 71. Emma Leroy Fabry is just outside the top-10 with a score of 72, while Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir is in the top-25 with a score of 74. Ayami Takahashi and Valeria Ramirez are tied with scores of 79, and Tiana Eldem scored an 80 while playing as an individual.

Southern Miss and UNCG are tied for first place, with James Madison close behind in third. James Madison’s Hannah Rabb leads individually with a score of 4-under 68. Central Arkansas will play the second round on Wednesday and the third on Thursday.
