The Arkansas State men’s basketball team has accepted an invitation to compete in the 2025 National Invitation Tournament (NIT), earning the No. 3 seed in the Dallas Region. They will host Saint Louis in the first round on March 18 at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Ark. The Sun Belt Conference has had a team in the NIT for four consecutive seasons, with Arkansas State making their fifth appearance in program history. Todd averages 14.7 points per game, while Nelson ranks fourth in the Sun Belt for rebounds with 8.7 per contest. The NIT semifinals and championship will be held at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on April 1 and 3, respectively. The game against Saint Louis will be televised on ESPNU.
