Southern Arkansas University has unveiled its football schedule for the 2025 season, featuring six home games and five away games. All 11 matchups will be against Great American Conference teams. Head Coach Brad Smiley, entering his fourth year at the helm, is coming off back-to-back seasons with at least nine wins, including a 9-2 record in 2024.
The Muleriders will kick off their home schedule against Oklahoma Baptist on September 4, followed by a road game against Southern Nazarene on September 13. Other notable matchups include Harding on September 20 for Family Day weekend, Henderson State on September 27, and Southwestern Oklahoma State for Homecoming on October 11.
Further matchups include games against Northwestern Oklahoma State, Arkansas Tech, Ouachita Baptist, East Central University, Southeastern Oklahoma State, and Arkansas-Monticello. The season will conclude with the 100th Battle of the Timberlands against Arkansas-Monticello on November 15.
