ZEEKR, a growing EV automaker under the Geely umbrella, unveiled its new autonomous driving technology, G-Pilot, at a live event in China. G-Pilot will enable Level 3 autonomous driving in its upcoming EV models, starting with the 9X SUV. The technology includes features such as General Automated Evasion System (G-AES) and Vehicle-to-Parking (V2P), powered by NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor chips. ZEEKR plans to expand the availability of G-Pilot to other models through over-the-air updates.
ZEEKR has already launched six all-electric models and plans to introduce a GT shooting brake version of its 007 sedan. The company has also expanded into new markets in Europe and has three bespoke EV models slated for launch in 2025. ZEEKR previously announced plans to implement NVIDIA’s DRIVE Thor next-gen system-on-chip in its vehicles, starting with a new large SUV model.
