Multiple teams are currently addressing wildfires throughout Arkansas: Here’s the latest information.


Fire crews in Arkansas have been battling numerous fires in the state due to dry and windy conditions. Arkansas is under a Red Flag Warning and many counties have implemented burn bans. In Bismarck, crews are working to extinguish a large wildfire believed to be caused by a downed power line on Sycamore Dr. in the 700 block of Oriole Rd. Evacuations have been initiated in the 3000 block of Hwy 128. In White Hall, a grass fire has been reported near Exit 30 on I-530 in Jefferson County, causing visibility issues on the interstate. Garland County has confirmed five fires in the area, with locations on East Grand, Kaufman Rd, Hwy 7N, Halk Terrace, and Rustic Hills Trail, most likely caused by limbs falling on powerlines. Firefighters are working tirelessly to contain the blazes. Updates on the fires will be provided as more information becomes available.
