Arkansas pulled off a stunning upset against St. John’s in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament, winning 75-66 to advance to the Sweet 16. Despite a physical game with a total of 44 fouls, the Hogs took control early and held off a late rally by St. John’s to secure the victory. Billy Richmond III led the way with a career-high tying 16 points and nine rebounds, while Karter Knox and Johnell Davis also contributed with double-digit scoring. Arkansas will now face third-seed Texas Tech in the Sweet 16 next Thursday in San Francisco. This victory marks the program’s fourth Sweet 16 appearance in five seasons.
