Heights Taco & Tamale Co. undergoes temporary closure for renovations

Heights Taco & Tamale Co. recently announced a temporary closure for building renovations, slated to last until early April. The Little Rock-based restaurant group, Yellow Rocket Concepts, which includes restaurants like Local Lime, ZAZA, and Big Orange, entered into a partnership with FoxDen Capital earlier this year to drive growth and expansion. The company’s principal partners, John Beachboard, Scott McGehee, and Russ McDonough, will retain minority ownership stakes as FoxDen Capital takes over majority ownership. In January, Yellow Rocket closed its Conway ZAZA location but reassured customers that its original ZAZA location in Little Rock’s Heights neighborhood is thriving. Yellow Rocket has plans to expand both locally and beyond the state, with the recent opening of a Local Lime location in Tennessee. The renovation at Heights Taco & Tamale Co. comes after ten years of serving up “Ark-Mex” cuisine and signals the company’s dedication to providing a fresh and updated dining experience for its customers once they reopen in early April.
