Fifth Place Finish for Women’s Golf Team at ULM Invitational


The Central Arkansas women’s golf team had a strong showing at the ULM Invitational, playing two rounds on Monday and moving up to fifth place after a slow start. Valeria Ramirez led the team with a 3-over 147, while Camila Negroni and Emma Leroy Fabry also had solid performances. Tiana Eldem had the best round of her career, scoring a 4-under 28 in round two. Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir and Ayami Takahashi also contributed to the team’s success.

Southern Miss leads the tournament by 11 strokes, with ULM and UT Arlington close behind. ULM’s Daniela Campillo currently holds the individual top spot. The Bears will play one more round on Tuesday to wrap up the tournament.
