Spring game scheduled for Saturday at 1 PM.

The University of Central Arkansas Bears will finish their spring practice with the annual Purple-Gray Spring Game on Saturday. Head coach Nathan Brown is excited about the talent level and competition among the players. With the departure of quarterback Will McElvain, there is a battle for the starting position. Brown is focused on clean football, protecting the ball on offense, and creating turnovers on defense during the game. The team has seen changes with players and coaches since the last season, but Brown is optimistic about the upcoming season. With a new offense and defense being installed, Brown is pleased with how quickly the players have adapted. He will be taking on the offensive coordinator duties as the team prepares for the fall season. Despite the turnover, Brown is confident in the coaches and the roster. He is looking forward to showcasing the team and introducing fans to the new players and coaches on Saturday. The Bears have been working hard during spring practice, and Brown hopes to see a strong performance from the team in the Spring Game on “The Stripes.”
