The Eastern Kentucky University women’s tennis team will be hosting Central Arkansas for its final regular season match on Sunday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center. The Colonels, with a record of 9-18, have lost their last two matches but have shown strong performances by scoring two or more points in each outing. Juniors Sasha Parkhomenko and Marilou Cote enter Sunday’s match on win streaks in singles play, with both securing victories in their last match against Lipscomb.
While EKU did not qualify for the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament, they are looking to end their season on a high note. Central Arkansas, with a record of 10-12, has also been performing well with wins in two of their last three matches. Led by junior Vichitraporn Vimuktananda, who has a 13-9 record in singles play, Central Arkansas will provide a tough challenge for the Colonels.
The match on Sunday is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. ET, with free admission for all fans. Live scoring updates will be available for those unable to attend. As the regular season comes to a close, both teams will be looking to finish strong and carry their momentum into the next season.
