Ragnow Exceeds Expectations for Hogs’ Lacrosse/Football Commitment

Arkansas football landed a rare recruit from the Midwest in three-star tight end Kade Bush, who committed to the Razorbacks in March. Bush, only the second player from Minnesota to choose Arkansas in 60-plus years, was discovered by offensive line coach Eric Mateos while recruiting Bush’s high school teammate. Despite initially planning to wait to commit, Bush was impressed by Arkansas during a visit in mid-March and decided to pledge to the team.

The connection between Bush and Arkansas is further strengthened by the influence of former Razorback and NFL player Frank Ragnow, who hails from the same Minnesota suburb as Bush. Ragnow reached out to congratulate Bush on his commitment, showing a desire to support the next generation of players.

Bush, who also played lacrosse before choosing football, brings a unique skill set to the Razorbacks. His ability to evade tacklers, love for physical play, and strong blocking skills make him a valuable addition to the team. With plans to study finance in college, Bush aims to make an impact on and off the field at Arkansas. The commitment of Bush showcases Arkansas’ expanding recruiting efforts to bring in talent from untraditional regions.
