Razorback Athletics Maintains Spot in Learfield’s Top 20

Arkansas has once again proven its success in intercollegiate athletics, ranking fourth in the Southeastern Conference and 17th overall in the 2024-25 Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings. The National Association of Collegiate Directors of America released the standings on Thursday, tracking the performance of college sports programs since 1993-94.

Earning 497.2 points, Arkansas is one of nine SEC programs in the top 25 of the standings, which include a variety of sports ranging from basketball to fencing. The Razorbacks have achieved a top-20 national finish in the standings for four consecutive years, a first in school history.

With eight NCAA titles and 38 SEC team championships in the past seven years, Arkansas has established itself as a dominant force in college athletics. The men’s basketball program, led by Coach John Calipari, made a notable run to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament, contributing 64 points to the Razorbacks’ overall score.

Arkansas’ consistent success in recent years has been highlighted by their conference championship totals, which surpass all other SEC programs. The Razorbacks’ 38 titles in the past seven years are more than six other league programs combined.

As the university continues to excel in a variety of sports, Arkansas remains a powerhouse in college athletics, solidifying its place among the top programs in the nation.
