Bears Sign Marshall from Harding to Their Team

The University of Central Arkansas Bears have added another transfer to their team, Rylie Marshall from Harding University. Head coach John Shulman announced the 6-foot-2 guard’s arrival, praising his skills and competitiveness on the court. Marshall, a two-time All-Great American Conference selection, helped the Bisons secure the 2025 GAC Tournament title and reach the NCAA Division II National Tournament. As a junior at Harding, he averaged 14.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three-point range. Marshall’s ability to make tough shots and his competitive edge stood out to Coach Shulman, who believes the Arkansas native will be a valuable addition to the Bears’ roster. Coach Shulman emphasized the importance of recruiting in-state talent, highlighting the quality of basketball in Arkansas. Marshall’s experience playing for his father at Beebe High School and for Coach Weston Jameson at Harding has prepared him for the Division I level. With Marshall’s shooting skills and toughness, Coach Shulman is confident that he will contribute to the team’s success at Central Arkansas.
