Central Arkansas tennis player Vichitraporn Vimuktananda has been named to the Academic All-ASUN Team, recognizing her outstanding performance both on the court and in the classroom. A junior General Business major with a 4.0 GPA, Vimuktananda is just the second player from the Bears to receive this honor since joining the ASUN in 2021.
Vimuktananda, originally from Thailand, was a standout on the tennis court this past season, playing primarily on the first court in both singles and doubles matches. She achieved a 13-6 record in singles and a 13-3 record in doubles, with a total of 26 wins across both courts leading the team and ranking among the top in the conference.
The Academic All-ASUN Team selection highlights Vimuktananda’s ability to balance the demands of being a Division I athlete while excelling in her studies. Her dedication and hard work have paid off with this prestigious recognition, showcasing her commitment to both her athletic and academic pursuits.
