Western Global Airlines Launches New Base Maintenance Facility in Blytheville, Arkansas
BLYTHEVILLE, AR – Western Global Airlines, Inc., renowned for its "can-do" approach, has officially inaugurated its new base maintenance operation at Arkansas International Airport (KBYH). This state-of-the-art facility, featuring a 50,000 square foot hangar and 40,000 square feet of storage capacity, will support the airline’s heavy maintenance requirements starting June 2025.
The decision to relocate from Shreveport, Louisiana, was announced by WGA’s CEO and Founder, James K. Neff. He emphasized that the new site offers exceptional back shop capabilities, a supportive airport authority, and cost-effective living conditions, enhancing their fixed base maintenance operations.
The Blytheville location not only showcases the company’s commitment to optimizing maintenance processes but also positions WGA to sustain its global line maintenance operations at various airports, including those in Columbus, Ohio; Ft. Myers, Florida; Ostend, Belgium; and Shenzhen, China.
