UCA Bears Sign Australian Forward Truman Byrne for 2025-26 Season
CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas Bears have officially added a promising talent to their roster for the 2025-26 season, signing 6-foot-10 forward Truman Byrne from Melbourne, Australia. The announcement was made by head coach John Shulman.
Byrne, who attended Berwick College, had an impressive high school career, averaging 16.5 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He showcased his skills not only on the basketball court but also in golf, earning two medals while representing Victoria.
