Bryce Gilmore Commits to Arkansas, Strengthening 2026 Recruiting Class

Fayetteville, AR — Consecutive official visits have culminated in a commitment: 4-star offensive lineman Bryce Gilmore has officially pledged to the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Prosper, Texas native made the announcement shortly after concluding his visit, citing an immediate sense of belonging as the key motivator behind his decision.

"I chose Arkansas because it felt like home the moment I stepped on campus,” Gilmore stated. "The culture, the fans, and the relationships I’ve built with the coaches made it an easy decision.” He expressed particular admiration for head coach Sam Pittman, offensive line coach Eric Mateos, and current Razorback offensive lineman Corey Robinson, who hosted him during his visit.

“The culture and the players made a significant impact,” noted Gilmore, highlighting the genuine connections he formed with current team members, particularly Robinson. “Corey was my guy—just chopping it up the whole visit.” This camaraderie reaffirmed his desire to contribute to the Razorbacks’ future.

Standing at 6’5" and weighing 290 pounds, Gilmore is ranked as the No. 15 offensive tackle and No. 199 prospect overall by On3.com. He previously visited Arizona State and had plans to check out Texas Tech, Penn State, and Ole Miss before committing. His announcement, originally set for his birthday on July 3, has refocused attention on Arkansas’s 2026 recruiting class, which now stands at 16 commitments and ranks No. 16 nationally per 247Sports.

National recruiting analyst Tom Lemming praised Gilmore’s combination of size, mobility, and technique, predicting a bright future for him at the collegiate level. As the fourth offensive lineman to join the Razorbacks’ 2026 class, Gilmore aims to play a pivotal role in building something special in Fayetteville.
